  • Yes, our fully funded places are allocated at the beginning of each academic year. They depend on family circumstances and are given at the discretion of the nursery manager. Find out more about our funding here.

  • Progress reports are written using ‘The Milestone Assessment Tool Kit’ which is recommended to early years providers in Kent.

  • We have an open door policy; you are welcome at any time, to come in and speak about concerns you may have, or just to come in and have a catch up.

    ‘Blossom’, is our parent communication/educational app. It is a 2-way portal where we can share observations with you, and you can upload photos and information from home. You can message, suggesting a time to come and sit down with your child’s key person or the nursery management team, to discuss your child, their progress or any concerns.
    Your child’s key person will provide 1 observation a week via the app. Blossom enables us to send you progress reports and invoices and diary updates. It is available to parents on both iPhone and android as a free app. An invitation to join will be sent to you during your child’s first week of term. Please not that staff can only access Blossom on our nursery devices.

  • We are fortunate to be able to use the school field, where we often go for nature hunts. In the early autumn we take the children in small groups, to Maisie’s Meadow to collect apples, which the children then eat and make juice.
    In the summer the children have a sports day on the field, followed by a picnic for children and their families.
    At Christmas, the older children go over to the primary school, to watch their nativity play.
    In the summer term of 2024 children will be going in small groups to the local library.
    We will always seek parent/carer’s permission before we take the children off site.

  • Most children are in nappies or pull ups when they begin their nursery journey at 2 years old. We support children with their toilet training when they show signs of being ready.

  • We take children from the age of 2 years old.
